I saw on the news they are pushing a bill to stop the national guard and police from taking peoples weapons during times of civil unrest and emergency. Any one have any info on this?

caught the tail end of it dont know what was really said , i'm interested to. they wont get mine till i'm out of ammo!!
Not sure what you saw but it was probably in reference to the "Katrina Law" GCO and others have been trying to get passed. It would prevent the state from coming in and grabbing our guns Ina a state of emergency. the current law allows these types of actions.
There may be some of you who actually would stand and fight but I doubt 97% of us would. Just look at Katrina for examples...
I strongly recommend that everyone checks out http://www.georgiacarry.org and become a member! They are fighting strongly for gun rights that directly affect us in GA and doing a great job at it.
there is too many of us with guns , they wont ever be able to do it. you saw the post about the number of hunters in just a few states imagine if we all heard "were coming to get cha guns"
Think again my friend, they did it in New Orleans:http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=-taU9d26wT4
