Yes and no. Just dry fired it using snap caps and it fired fine. The only issue I see is that yes the kit can move forward which may hinder the cycling.Change my vote. Not an SBR, will not fire. The kit is held in place by the chamber. With no chamber, the whole kit will move forward when you try to fire.

It damn sure will fire if it is somehow held in place.
I remember that thread about the guy who dropped his kit and wound up with a hole in his leg. No chamber required. It may not cycle, but it damn sure will fire once.
Well I guess the only way to solve this mystery is for a little range time. I'll try it out on Friday.
