SC No Concealed Weapons

Same here. I carried to the gas station just before the SC state line, put it in the glove box and when I came back I stopped at the same gas station and holstered it. I'll try real hard to never spend another dime in SC.
That's what I did but at the I-20 rest area.

That's why I no longer go to Myrtle Beach..its like Illinois to me , I only drive thru the parts I have to to get somewhere else and I try to do it without stopping at all.

No concealed carry unless you have a license/permit issued by the State. If you want to test out the knowledge of the local LEOs related to carrying an arm openly, you are allowed to carry while traveling to or from an area where you are engaged in hunting (if licensed - to hunt or fish that is).

"Licensed hunters or fishermen who’re engaged in hunting or fishing or going to or from their places of hunting or fishing, while in a vehicle or on foot, may carry a handgun."

I wouldn't personally test this today although I regularly open carried as a resident there in the early 1990's. I don't think I'd test this. Keep one in your console and move it to and from your vehicle in a case. You'll be fine.
