I'm 6' and 260, a G43 is waaayyyyy too small for my hand, even a 26, 27 and 33(I've edc'd each) with pinky extensions are too small for my thick fingers. I hate a pistol my pinky hangs off of

Why the reluctance to improve the trigger in a carry gun?
I have run hundreds of thousands of rounds through poly frame handguns. They have out lasted every metal/steel weapon I have come across and maintained their accuracy and dependability. Love 1911's, CZ's and Browning Hi Powers.
Give me a tiny bag of parts and I will run that polygun cheaper with fewer repairs than any steel weapon (handgun) and just as accurately.
Have had a couple with over 500k rounds and virtually a free rebuild at Glock when looking for a single spring. Lots of great steel and polyguns.
Sig P229 all day, with 12+ rounds. My P226 is too big to carry, IMO, but you can get 18+ rounders. Finally shot my BNIB P229C in 357 Sig this week (been in the safe for a couple of years), and I'm liking it too for my EDC. For single stack, P239 is a great choice, but you give up the round capacity you are looking for.

I like Sig 229 or M11-A1 (my favorite) with a Gray Guns flat trigger and SRT kit in them. SA/DA goodness all day long. That being said, I have my Kimber Micro 9 on me at the moment.
