What do you need it for?
I picked up this one from Harbor Freight cause I had a coupon https://www.harborfreight.com/5-inch-multi-purpose-vise-67415.html
It has held up for several years now and does everything I need it to do when I build or work on an AR.

I got this Tipton from MidwayUSA https://www.midwayusa.com/product/607786/tipton-gun-vise which works well for the times when I'm not using a big ass hammer.

I have the Tipton Best gun vise. They run about $100, caught mine around $75. Tipton has a new one called the Ultra(even holds bows), $100 at amazon.

Ok - still in the market after 2 years.

Leaning towards Tipton's Best...anyone else have one they prefer?

I bought a Tipton's Best a couple of years ago and it has served me well. No complaints.

I usually a regular 5” bench vise. Different jaw pads to hold different shapes. Geissele reaction rods and Magpul BEV block for AR’s.
