I love my Sigs. I always replace the screws with the torx heads when I get them.

The legion screws are a different profile than regular sig screws. I found out the hard way

Have a 229 .40 Legion I bought used. Was missing a grip screw when I bought it. Google P229 grip screw. Lots of sites have them. Might have got mine from Optics Planet.

Never owned a legion. I thought they used the Hogeu Aluminum grip?

I can’t find anything online on what grip screws to order contacted sig but haven’t heard back if anyone has info or more familiar with the screws please pm me

Never owned a legion. I thought they used the Hogeu Aluminum grip?

They use a G10 grip. The pocket depth in the g10 is more shallow than the other grips they use so the screw heads will stick up higher than they are supposed to.

XSmojo has spare screws laying around now because I made that mistake on a legion and gave them to him since they were useless to me.

However, I question the premise of the thread. OP claims to have bought a .40. but this is ODT and we know that only 3 traders will touch .40 and even then, only at half price or under.
