Searching by distance question

Ok...what am I doing wrong? If I search all handguns within say 30 miles from my zip I get a different number of results than when I search Central Ga handguns within 30 miles of my zip. It should be the same results.

Now I'm even getting results from Metro Atlanta when searching within 30 miles from my Macon zip.

It's based on zip code. If there's no zip code or it's entered wrong, the distance search doesn't work for that listing.

That's what I thought but the ones showing up have zip codes in their ad. One is even north of I-20.

Users select the geo region themselve;, so if they don't know that a suburb of Atlanta isn't Central Georgia, it's not going to work correctly.

Exactly
