Semi Auto Handguns Porn

That is correct. The bolts are completely interchangeable. I guess when Interdynamics was forced to change the guns to close bolt, they did it in a way that was backwards compatible. The trigger mechanism for all of them are the same. I can move the FA bolt legally to any of them. If I had to do it as fast as possible, I could move the bolt to the KG9 or KG99 within 60 seconds and it would be a perfectly functioning and legal full auto. I'm bidding on a KG99-mini right now. That is a KG99 with a unshrouded 3" threaded barrel. My intention is to port the barrel and integrally suppress it. Then I could move the bolt to it whenever and have a FA Tec-9SD.
Yeah my Tec 9 was the short barrel (uglier) version. I always thought it was funny that there was basically no feed ramp just a cone or funnel shaped chamber. And even with that they still jammed up on a regular.
One of the only guns I ordered when I had my FFL in 93 was a Kimmel Industries AP9 for a cop friend of mine. I liked it better because it looked like a better quality version of the Tec 9 . But I found out way later on that the frames on those cracked worse than the Tec 9 frames. In fact there WAS a guy on GunBroker for a long time with what looked like a U-Haul moving box full of AP9 frames for sale. He must have had about 200 or more. The listing said they were replacement frames for earlier models that were known to crack. I thought about getting one but the seller didn't have any other parts or even info on where to find them. It had to be an interesting story as to how he wound up with what was probably all the frames left in the whole world.
One of the unicorn guns I searched all over for back before I joined here was an Encom or Enfield America MP9 or preferably the MP 45 that uses M3 grease gun mags. But there's almost no info on those guns or the company that made them at all. They were similar in appearance to the Tec 9 but were all metal and obviously used a lot of AR parts. Even though the company was based close to Atlanta it's still damn near impossible to find any info on them. Granted they've probably been out of bidness since the very early 90s.
The first and only one I ever saw in person was when a friend owned Macon Gun and Pawn . It was a 45 ACP version AND a side feed like a Sten. On a side note not too long ago one of my favorite gun channel guys, Mishaco did a video on one he scored that was actually a carbine and even uglier in that form. Some folks say his videos are too long. But those short attention span types just need to find another channel. I dig Mishaco's deep dives on milsurp type guns. And damn, here I am rambling on about obscure old ****.
