Serious question... my daughter and a gun.....

my daughter is a graduating senior, but she has had martial arts training at an early age. i recently bought my older kids tactical pens. it can be used effectively against unarmed attackers.
Meredith Emerson.Athletic,martial arts training.Hiking in north Ga.mountains.She was overcome by force by a 60 year-old loser.He whipped her,martial arts didn`t stop him.He kept her as a prisoner for,I think,5 days before raping her and killing her with a tire tool.The dirtbag was Gary Michael Hilton.He also did the same thing to a young hiker in Fla.in a national forest.He`s in prison,suspected of more crimes.However,other women in north ga.have died since then by persons unknown.Yes,if she`s(daughter)willing,get her a gun and provide her with training.There ain`t any bad or good areas any more.All of them may hold danger.Pepper spray?What makes you think he won`t come back when his eyes quit burning?
I would get her a Taser or revolver, the world is way too dangerous for a young lady. She also needs a few days of range time or better yet a local gun range membership so she can go weekly to practice. Also, if she doesn't have the willingness to kill an attacker, she might be better off with the Taser.
If she is semi comfortable with the idea then let her start shooting.... It will be much easier to convince her to carry when her comfort level is increased.
I'm right there with ya Dad......My Daughter carry's a gun every where she goes when she is off post...off duty.....and she can very well take care of herself......but!!..........
