Our Sheriff in Bartow is adamant that people own guns and know how to use them. Recently there was a ex-husband that chased his ex-wife and bf in their car, opened fire on them when they went down a dead end street. He killed them both and then himself. The BF had a pistol but never returned fire. Sheriff Milsap used this incident as an example on why people should not only own guns, but know how to use them.
