Shotgun/rifle combos

When I was young I would tell my dad about guns I had seen for sale, and most times he would say, NO we already have this or that, don't need it. But one day I told him about a 22/410 I saw at a local pawn shop. He said "Well, let's get it!" I went back and it was gone. Now it's hard to pass one up. Here's my 22lr/410,22mag/410,22mag/20 gage. Old shooters but I love them.View attachment 1300695 View attachment 1300697
Very nice! If you ever decide to part with any (especially that H-DL in .22mag/20) just let me know!

I'd like to have one of these with a double suppressor attached- hmm Form 1 time - NOBODY STEAL MY IDEA!
Do it!!!!
I have been wondering lately about what would be required to shorten one. It could be a SBR/SBS combo. How many stamps would that take? There is only one serial number...

Not a bad looking rifle. This pic doesn't do it justice. It has checkering on the wood and looks real good in a clear pic. It doesn't have all the combos Savage has but it's not plastic. I think 22mag over 410 would be the best combo they offer.

Who makes this one? Chiappa?

I'd guess just one stamp for the firearm - sort of like an AR lower being stamped even though you can have many uppers. I don't own one of these combo guns but maybe I need to research the idea.

Back in my youth in the mountains of Virginia men could freaking shoot. I mean movie type shots. These guns were very, very, very popular turkey rifles. Especially the 22mag and 20/12 gauge combo. I saw many a turkey with their heads blown completely off cause the turkey was to far away for a shotgun shot. As a matter of fact I spent a great deal of my youth with my moms best friends four boys. In Virginia the seasons overlapped. Turkey ran over into deer season and deer season ran into bear season bla bla bla. I saw their dad walk out of the woods up to the house with a turkey with no head and he was hunting with a 30-30. LOL Those ole country boys could shoot and most of the them used open sights only. There are very few of those good ole boys floating around anymore. Not really anything to do with this thread but my cousin didn't a license because our folks had 100's of acres. He hunted deer with 22mag. He could drop a dear with one shot every single time. One to the eyeball. I saw him do twice between 50 and 100 yards. I went along to drive the motorcycle back that had the deer strapped to it. These boys were straight up hillbillies. You know half a mouth of teeth and chaw of tobacco the size of a plum. Those old boys taught me how to hunt.
