Should I Change Front Sight on New Ruger LCR?

Just bought a new LCR in 38 cal for the wife and have seen a lot of posts about swapping out the black front blade sight with either a hi-viz tube or maybe night sight. Would appreciate any opinions......thanks.

If you are going to, I would definitely look into a fiber front.

A little bit of high visibility paint would be a cheap alternative to see if it helps before spending the money.

This is what I would do first.

I used an orange crayola paint pen and painted the ribbed section of the front sight and it turned out very well.

Good suggestions, I have a XS big dot front sight on mine, really helps pick up the front sight quickly on the short barrel

I have the red fiber optic and it is still not as visible as I think it should be. I am going to put an XS big dot on it because I want to SEE it-especially in fast draws from a concealment holster.

Thanks for the ideas......I believe I will try putting a little florescent paint on the stock sight and give it a try first. It that don't get it, the fiber optic looks like the way to go. Gun stores around me really don' stock them but he did say that would install what I find for 10 - 15 dollars.
