I never made it on the brace bandwagon.

Never owned nor fondled one, but understand the original selling point of strapping it to your arm. Are folks truly doing that?

Are folks just circumventing rules for short barreled rifles and putting braces on to shoulder them? Imagine other than looking cool not having proper LOP would be an issue or are optics just mounted further away?

In my attempts to research PDW stocks for a spare SBR lower ive now even seen PDW braces.

True SBR lowers seem the minority now.

Do people buy sports cars that go over the speed limit actually stay below the speed limit? Do POS beaters drive the same highway speed as a Ferrari? And do you still see sports cars selling when a ford Taurus will also get you from A to B?
Though I understand the logic to the ability here most of this nets a fine/fee.

I would imagine the brace thing would net a higher penalty.

Why would a brace not have the proper LOP? You can legally install an adjustable pistol brace on a standard AR carbine receiver extension (buffer tube) and have the exact range of adjustability as an adjustable stock.

All my shorties are SBR’s, but I understand the attraction to the adjustable brace.

There should never be a length restriction, or any other restriction for that matter, on ANY firearm but that’s for another discussion. So if someone comes up with a workaround of government overreach that’s fine by me.
Completely agree. Just attempting to play within the parameters provided.

So I thought the same thing with the LOP when it came to braces didn’t matter, but when it comes to the flux raider for the 365 supposedly if you put the brace pad on the longest rail. It’s still considered a sbr so they say

Yes. I believe most of them are. Many people seem to believe that it is legal to build a braced pistol with the intent of shooting it from the shoulder. I do not care what people do with their own property and I think SBRs should be removed from the NFA and there should be no barrel or over all length restrictions to a rifle but as the law currently reads I do not think it is legal.
