Apparently not. 2 day priority shipping from Monday night; estimated delivery 12/24/18 by 8pm. 2 weeks on 2 day priority.

I always tell them I want the cheapest shipping rate they have. My packages usually arrive the next day or the day after.

USPS has a contract with Amazon. I wonder if they're prioritizing those deliveries over the normal mail to meet some sort of contract obligations?

That's just for Sunday delivery. The rest of the week they are just the normal post office.

I saw my mail carrier delivering mail after dark. My mail had been arriving around noon, but it's been getting layer and later. It was after 5:00 pm one day last week.

Yup, same here. This is busy season any the mail carrier for my condo complex was there when I pulled in at 7:30 PM last night. I'm sure they are making good money though, time and a half at the least...

Well, I just quit my job and I'm going to make deliveries for Amazon too! Just received an amazon delivery from a lady driving a 2018 Escalade ESV. Seriously? lol

I used to see a lot of Amazon deliveries by car, but not anymore. Now they all use those anonymous white vans you see everywhere.

You mean the ones that looked like they've been in a demolition derby? I haven't seen one yet that didn't have body parts hanging off or looked like it's seen a wall or five. They beat the **** out of them! The grey vans that say Amazon on them are spotless though, I imagine a huge wage difference between the two.

Put a cup of water in microwave beside the cake and it will taste fresh, works with bread also.

I'd make the mailbox door hard as hell to open, then wait for him to complain.

I have a large mailbox. The mail carrier would throw the mail all the way to the back of the box.
I returned the favor when I had a letter to be mailed. It didn't take but a couple of times and my mail was at the front of the box.

Reminds me of the time Mom sent me a care package to Nam..Took if I remember about 6 weeks, Back then boxes were wrapped in plain brown paper tied with a string and labeled.. When I received mine the paper was soiled with what looks like oil...I opened it up and it looked like green alien slime. I dumped it out and rinsed the content, a six pack of beer don't know what kind they were a dull silver, 6 airline little booze bottles with labels gone and sludge..She had sent PBR, Jack Daniels and Apple Strudel she had made..I told her it was great!! I drank the Jack, all the beer tops had popped so the rest was Deep Sixed...Ah Back in the day.
