I've been having fun with this one lately.

The SLR-106 is a great rifle, I've owned the FR, U with a SB47 brace, and a SA-M5 milled. The 106U with the brace was insanely fun, quality mags are hard to find for under $40 a mag though.

It has been a lot of fun. I've added a grip and sling since the pic was taken. More accurate than I thought it would be although I'd like to add a red-dot. Fortunately, it came with enough mags to do what I need to do.

The best alternative to Bulgarian are Polish Radom mags, or so I read, like you I had about 20 Bulgarians. A gunbroker seller in Poland would sell the Radom mags in lots for about $20-$25 a mag, but I ended up trading the guns before I bought any.

I really appreciate the 106 now that I have sufficient number of mags and that Tula 223 is a touch cheaper than Tula x39.
