Well I started on the classics. They are easy and cheap to tune. I can't imagine the European market prices. The American after market is not cheap so you gotta spending some major coin. You jump into European, you're going to spend money. I've been learning first hand for the last five years
I've looked at those, the prices are good on them for sure. Any reliability issues? Any issues finding parts?I really like mine... well, I didn't like driving it Saturday. Still a little ice on the road. It's the 1st time I've ever driven it at the speed limit, that's not nearly as much fun.

Just keeping it stock. The car has been in the family a long time. It was given to me. I'd never bought one with well over 300k on it, but the price was right. I've spent $12k on this car in 5yrs trying to get everything fixed on it. I knew from the start in was going to cost me money. I've only driven it @ 25-30k miles in that time.Well I started on the classics. They are easy and cheap to tune. I can't imagine the European market prices. That says a heap coming from a FiatI let it sit too long, and it killed the battery...that's about it. It's basically a MX5, mechanically, except for the engine. I've had it going on 8 years, and never a problem with it. I can say with 100% honesty that it is more reliable than ANY CHEVROLET that I've ever owned.
I was about to say it that wasn't too high of a bar...lolThat says a heap coming from a Fiat
Certainly back in the day Fiat wasn't known for reliability. Just plain and simple. The car he has is a great looking vehicle. But from the first pic I saw of it, I was wondering. This computer age has turned out a lot of nice products though. The new Jeeps, Dodge and Chrysler are all owned by Fiat these days. I was told to steer clear of the new Jeeps by a service writer that worked there. Nuff saidI was about to say it that wasn't too high of a bar...lol
