I had a bird from last year to enter, but this one was one to be proud of!
I've never worked so hard for a bird and she was a trooper the whole time. From the gate that bird was 1.3 miles deep. I put a hub blind, my turkey vest and two folding chairs on a pack frame and carried them in, along with the gun. She walked in and I carried her bird out, along with all of that gear on my pack frame. It was a very rewarding hunt to say the least. Her smile made that hunt for me.
