Sig Carry? Safe or Dangerous?

You fail to grasp what I stated. The incident you are quoting is publicly-known, well-covered "news" that has been covered on multiple media types, ad nauseam, including the ODT, since the day that they incident occurred, which was JULY 20 2025.

Wait, you mean there are people who haven't read your posts?!? Aish! What to do!?!? :)

By profession, you're immersed in gun discussions all the time. Most gun owners are not. Even if they consider themselves "gun folks."

I'd be willing to bet the vast majority of Sig P320 owners are blissfully unaware of this latest development. Given that Sig has gone on the warpath to suppress chatter about this going back several years, and that it's a taboo topic on some Sig forums, it's no surprise.

I don't have much of an opinion on SIG handguns, don't own any. All I know is a 20-year-old Airman serving his country in Wyoming, who probably just wanted to go fish after work or hang out with friends and play some Xbox, or ride his dirt bike, or hit the town looking for a good time is dead. No meeting a cute girl at the bar, finding out he loves her and wants to marry her, teaching his kids to ride bicycles, retiring, admiring his grandkids. A whole life gone, never lived, all because Sig and their executive team would rather pretend than face the truth.

I don't have much of an opinion on Sig handguns, but I do on the corporate company. I righteously hate their idea of morality and will never buy anything that company ever makes.

I'm not only referencing what I've shared. The info didn't originate with me..........I learned it through public news and forums, and shared it here on ODT 1-2 days AFTER it occurred.

This has been a HUGE topic in the firearms community, nationwide, for 9 days now. It has been posted about by MULTIPLE members (not just cmshoot) here on ODT for at least 7 days, and most of them did not hear about it from me.

Pardon me for being surprised at a case of ignorance.

Easy, fella. I'm poking you a bit.

It's big news for gun aficionados and in gun circles. The rest of the universe...not so much. And the rest of the universe includes everyone who owns or is familiar with the P320, but knows nothing about the controversy, and may never know. There are armed forces and law enforcement members strapped with that model pistol right now, who know nothing about this.

We all have our own information bubbles.
