I wonder how many more civilians would have had to be injured or killed by one of these things before this got taken as seriously as it clearly has now.
I understand not wanting to immediately blame a gun for someone shooting themselves. People blame their gun for them negligently handling it. But the ones who blindly, or even worse knowingly, defended the P320 are partly why it took a service member getting killed for this to finally be taken as seriously as it should have been a long time ago.

Bought the M18 when first available. Sold it a few months later as I have done in the past with all striker fired weapons I have acquired, without putting a single round thru the tube. I can’t train my brain to believe they’re safe. I own no handgun presently that doesn’t have an exposed hammer. Funny cause I have no issue carrying cocked and locked with my 1911’s or HK’s.
