I know not everyone has decent cashflow these days but I’d recommend those persons spending that 200-300 on a pistol training course over just spending the wad on a Taurus.
I mean you can get a well loved Police Trade in Glock for around $300ish…

Right but that Leo price is not always.
And that’s what I say if you can’t afford the Glock that’s what I recommend

Right so what should I tell them to buy
Well I’ve never had an issue finding a LEO Trade in Glock for under $350 and I’ve been on ODT for a few moons

The G2 series is a downstream iteration of the Millenium, which suffered from similar self-discharge problems as the P320. About a dozen people got shot by PT111s going off without a trigger pull. 1 million pistols recalled and replaced, $329 million class action suit. Taurus wobbled pretty badly, but managed to survive.
I like to think the G2 and G3 were reengineered enough that it's not an issue, but I've never been motivated to buy one.
Dang man sorry to hear about that. If you look at the g2c it’s clearly a knock off glock kinda like the sigma. Happens to take sig 226 mags.
