SIG P320 "dropped discharge" NEVER HAPPENED!

SIG kind of shot themselves in the foot by talking about dropped firearms in their manual.

Sure, it says it's safe, but the big red 'warning' banner kind of makes you wonder.

I can't think of another company with a drop-safe pistol that does that although I may be 100% wrong on that, and all their lawyers make them do it.

In reality it looks like they are as safe as any other striker fired gun. Found a cool GIF that shows how they lock the striker...

Wait, what? You're telling me that some people actually read owner's manuals?
 
Wow... that's going to be one heck of a recall. And I can already see Glock jumping all over this to get the pistol trials re-opened.

Now that manual warning sounds a little like they knew this was an issue beforehand as well. This is going to get pretty ugly if these guys results can be duplicated.
 
Glocks aren't vulnerable to anything ;)
