Sig P365??

I'm on the fence about one too. Every time I decide to buy one I see something like this and then I hold off. December built I believe:

When he took the gun case out of the package returned by Sig, he commented about the cracked latch on the case he sent in. The case he removed isn't the case that comes with the 'improved' 365 with X-ray sights. Not saying he didn't have the newer version of the 365 originally, but the case isn't like the case I've seen the newer guns come with.

That being said, I like mine.

I have sent my P365 into SIG for every free Upgrade they had, 2000 Rounds later no issues, primer drag or anything. It's a little snappy with stout ammo but it will continue to be my go to carry pistol. Go rent one and form your own opinions. Everything I have researched says anything manufactured in late 2018 and after runs just fine.

I did not notice his comment about the cracked latch. I posted the video because I was interested in this "Special Magazine". I thought others might be as well since it has been discussed so much. It doesn't appear to be special at all. What Sig did that was special, in my opinion, was cut out as much volume as possible in the grip and the mating of the magazine to the pistol - Nothing that other manufactures couldn't do. The magazine wall thickness is very thin. Many other manufactures have the same or less thickness in their magazines. But, Glock has the plastic mag with thicker walls. It looks like that aspect would present Glock with a higher hurdle to clear if they stayed with plastic mags.

I really wanted to like the p365 when it came out, but I've seen so much conflicting information I decided against it. Seems that sig failed to work the bugs out before releasing them, and that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Consumers shouldn't be the test subjects in my opinion. Sig's QC has gone down hill in the last few years.

That's a shame,

I have had mine for about 6 months now... It is AMAZING...Thousands of rounds so far... Sig reliability. Fun to shoot- a little tough at first putting that 12th round in the magazine, better after broken in. Think about 13 rds of 9mm in the palm of your hand- True Revolutionary design-These guys are Geniuses. There is nothing like it out there. All friends are converting to P365, even the wife switched from the P238 Sig to P365... They are still hard to get from local store, he says they sell as fast as they come in...

Amazing size for such a potent weapon- Very happy with mine. All friends who have bought are telling their friends too

I got to shoot the one I bought this weekend. Shot steel plate rack with it at 25yrds. Did pretty well for such a small gun. I was impressed. I’m not a great shot by any means, but I was able to knock down the plates pretty consistently with decent speed after a couple magazines. No issues. Definitely a keeper.

MAGIC

I have a 365 and heard that when sig designed the pistol they had three patents just on the magazine. I think that is one of the reasons we won’t see another manufacturer come out with a ten round sub compact anytime soon

YES, If the Patents were no issu- the competition would have been all over it--- all we here is Crickets from the competition... our local store here cannot get enough of them... He was surprised at the amount of Glock converts he has helped...

I like mine too. Only thing I do not like the p365 ccw hp’s they came out with for the gun. I felt the recoil all the way to my trigger. Any other any Ammo doesn’t. Everything cycled great from those to critical and WWB. No problems what so ever. I was surprised. Iv never had good luck with micros till now. They are a good buy in my opinion if your looking to cc an plink around on the weekends.
