Sig P365??

I think I’m about to try one of these out. I just bought a m&p 2.0 3.6” but dang the frame texture eats my love handles up. Great for shooting though

If the born on date is September of 2018 or later you are good to go. It's that simple.

Yes there are patents on the magazine.

Apex is waiting two to three more months to see if there are any more changes, which they don't expect, and then they will have a trigger for it.
The gun is so good I was willing to dump something I've been carrying for six or seven years and relearn the grip angle of the 365 just to have it.
In talking with Sig it was not confirmed but I kind of got the feeling that there will be longer slide and longer frame versions of this gun which would be awesome. If this gun was the size of the g48x it would be 15 or 16 rounds plus one .

My only complaint is that on the 365 the grip is so short that it is very difficult for me to perform reloads quickly as I have to rip the magazine out. I really wish this wasn't the case and a longer grip module would fix this for those that don't mind it or want to shoot comps. The slide doesn't need to be touched as it has front slide serrations and the grip texture is perfect without being too scratchy against the skin or clothing.

I'll change the sights to a u notch rear and a brighter front and I would probably use an Apex Trigger if it reduced the roll before the break but otherwise the gun is very good. The trigger take up is smoother than any factory striker fired trigger I've felt, although it did take two hundred rounds or so to get there. The gun is also very accurate. I shoot it as good as my Shield which has a very very good aftermarket trigger in it since the Apex in those guns breaks very clean and is around 3 lb. 1/3 IPSC steel at 25 yards is no issue with the 365 and that's with a factory five plus pound trigger.
