She's completely clean now...I learned all about the SKS during that process lol!

I noticed this just yesterday. Arsenal repair...they did a real good job, it's not obvious in person especially in normal indoor lighting.

Seen several threads from people asking for parts, or wanting help identifying their SKS rifle or something like that, but no single thread just for posting pretty pictures.

It's one of the most fun rifles to own though, imho, with so many different models out there. This is my 1951 Tula. I love shooting this thing and hope I never have to get rid of it. Whatcha got?

Norinco Spiker. My dad bought 3 of these at a gun show in 1988. We still have all 3. I have one. He has one. My uncle has one. Still all original and matching numbers.
