Are they "doing well" or "trying to keep up in a cutthroat business"?

After Sandy Hook, lots of AR manufacturers popped up and the big boys ramped up production. Eventually supply exceeded demand putting the AR market in the toilet. The big guys will survive but I don't see much future for small businesses dedicated to manufacturing a product in a flooded market. Really, the only hope for those in the AR business is a Hillary presidency. They need another scare.
