Two young men saunter down the street in Portland with "assault rifles" strapped on their backs - to educate the public.

Personally, I think they are MORONS!

I think that is ridiculously stupid during a time like this. There are much better ways to 'educate the public' than walking down the street with an AR on your back.

just adds to the whole liberal stereotype of, 'crazy redneck gun owners' in my opinion.

We had the AK guy walk into the park during Occupy Atlanta so we've already done this. Made all the major networks across the country and I'm sure someone will dig out the footage to use against us soon...

All this did to educate the masses is to show gun owners can be douche bags too.

If you want to educate people about guns, start a family fun shoot or something like that to show the public the fun/sport aspect of gun ownership.
