It doesn't look anything like a copperhead to me or a viper of any kind. Not sure what it is though. A copperhead that long would be much larger in diameter for one thing.

Yeah can't really tell if it's got the triangular/ viper shaped head or not but the hourglass markings seem to fit enough that I'd treat it like one .

The head shape is not that pronounced in copperheads.

Sorry, just not seeing it. Maybe just a younger version but head not the same, body shape not the same. Colors not the same. Pattern is similar but not the same to my eyes.
