Dogs walked right under it as it sat on my camping chair arm. It didnt strick, but hes small and in captivity until I can re-locate or kill. please help!

Good training moment for the dogs... to keep them AWAY from the snake. For 2 reasons, so they won't harm a harmless snake and so they won't get bit by a non-harmless one. Put the snake on the ground and put yourself between it and the dogs. Keep saying "AWAY" or "OFF" or whatever word you want... but keep them away from the snake.
