He's a panther chameleon. There are lots of types and they're really awesome. This one in particular is a blue bar ambilobe. Look at screameleons.com, they have some crazy ones...

Most of the females are basically pink. The males have crazy colors when they're mad...like when they see their reflection...cuz they they think they're seeing another male...
The first one I got when she was a juvenile. She was jet black and looked like she was on fire. She has such a great temperament also. Very interactive with you. She is a blotched kingsnake. As you can see from the other pic, her colors have dulled significantly as she's gotten older and bigger.
The other one is a striped California King. Slightly off white and black.

I do like King snakes. Had a Cal King but she was old and died when I was out of town.
Here's mine...it lives in the yard. 'cept when it's on the porch scarin' the hell outta my wife hehehehehe
Awwww. That sucks. They have such a great temperament though. This is a gray banded I had for awhile but you better believe it when they say they're finicky eaters. Bc he sure was.
