I am wanting to start investing but worry there will be a correction in the market. No ideal what to do.

No one can time the market, cost average and re-balance.
Take the human emotion out of stock trading.
--Pick a dollar amount you are comfortable with having in a single position, call this a Unit.
--When purchasing stocks/ETF, buy 1/4 unit
--Wait a predermined amount of time like 2 months or if there is a 10% pull back(correction), then buy another 1/4 unit
--Once you have a full Unit, then every Jan & July re-balance to the Unit value, taking profit or adding more money.
--If there is residual cash, start a new position.
--Start with about 5 positions, when you get >20 positions you can raise your Unit value.

Take profit, don't get greedy, remember "Bulls make money, Bears make money, Pigs get slaughtered"
Take profit from the stocks that have run up(Bulls), buy more of the stocks that are in a pull back(Bears)
