So I finally got me another 30-30 Old steel butt plate Winchester just like the one I had as a kid.

My question is what is better for white tail 150 or 170 grain pills? Or does it really matter. The firearm according to serial was made in 1969. A very good year.

Already ordered a front sight hood for it. Love an old winny 30-30. Some pretty wood on this old firearm.

Also, it doesn't matter on grain size. Shoot both and see which one she likes better and stick with that.

One problem. My Dad likes it. He was in Vietnam in 1969 and was there a while before and after. I want to give it to him but I love the dang thing.
