Tom Scott of CTS Tactical is a straight up guy.I know what you mean. I was using a guy up here and every time I went in there he was in sales mode. Just one of those narrow focused guys that forgot that there's other aspects of the business then just selling guns. So I stopped using him and I started using a little small pawn shop that's a little further away.
I've developed a friendship with him over the last 5 years and he will call me as soon as the package hits the front door no matter what's going on. He knows I have to drive about 35 minutes but he usually calls me as soon as it comes in. And I really like that and I use him exclusively for things that get transferred to an FFL. He is super nice, funny loves to stand around and chat and just a great all-around guy. One of those pawnbrokers that doesn't want the merchandise he just wants to get his money back out of it. He'll do everything you can for a customer to keep him from losing his stuff.
I bought a few guns from over the last few years and he always treats me right. Just like Scott at CTS Tactical he has really done me right on gun and parts prices. I highly recommend CTS tactical to anyone needing anything. He does ODT members really well!
This is not something new people. It's been going on for years.Good man though.Sorry about the **** you both comment. I irritate easily right now.
Hold on podner. Going in that direction will just add tannerite to your burning bridge.I contacted Buds to see if they can force the FFL to ship back their firearm. Gonna see what they say.
When I lived in Kennesaw and just over the Acworth line off Wade Green Rd. I bought a ton of stuff from Tru Prep. I outfitted my complete big out back pack from there mostly. I purchased multiple receiver sets and a ton of AR-15 parts as well. They always did me right. They maybe could use a course in retail courtesy but other than that they are good to go.I can understand being ticked after a couple of days. I’ve not had that issue. Had a few transferred in to Kudzu Tactical (aka True Prep) and Silver Dollar Pawn. Both have always called me on the day it arrived saying it’s ready when I am to pickup. Both excellent FFL’s. I also buy other stuff when there to show my appreciation for their work.
BP you’re not hurting the ffl by sending it back to Buds. They’ll just slap that sticker on it and wait for FedEx… really sounds like a little buyers remorse kicking in now… you’ve bought a bunch of guns and sold a bunch from what I read and maybe this was a hair trigger purchase. Believe me, I’ve done it. I’m an impulse buyer at times…
