So, is NIL obsolete now in College Athletics?

I'm not clear what this means at this point, but sounds like college Athletes could get paid directly by schools. So would that make the whole NIL thing obsolete?

a small percent of kids move on to pro sports.. the schools make billions off of sports... some of the kids who would have had a future get career ending injuries and the school still makes money...
i dont have a problem with it...but i also could care less about sports, college or otherwise...
now i would watch soccer if they would cut the field in half, add two more balls and make it full contact....but thats about it....

They will eventually ruin high school football as well, and they are already well on their way to doing it, but for now it is still mostly enjoyable.

Youth sports is where it’s at. That’s where it’s always been. Sports are nothing but kids games, after all.

I do miss going to the games when my son played. May go to a few this year just because they are a blast.
