I never think about my chances of winning the Mega Millions as being less than that of being struck by lightning, but here you go.

20 per year on average for the state? Georgia has 1.5 - 2 per year on average.

Sad for the family though and 17 is way too young.

I had a ladder stand on a tree on the side of a hill. You could see where a bolt went down the tree right where the stand was. Glad I wasn't in it

Good place for the stand. It was one of those trees that seems to attract lightning. Good conductor. I'm sure that metal stand helped too. I know I still hunted out of it before I removed it. God does look out for me. I'd be dead otherwise
