So what happened to Flight 370

Um, anyone see the news about Chinese satellite spotting "possible" debris in the China Sea. I bet they shot it down. They've been beating their chest about how they own that area of ocean.

The same Chinese govt that lambasted Malaysia for their lack of effort in locating the plane? Interesting that the same Chicom govt took these "new pictures" on Sunday.

Despite all the politics My heart goes out to the family of the passengers of flight 370.

20 years ago my wife lost her brother in a plane crash. It was nine days before we knew if anybody had survived the crash. (nobody did) I can't begin to describe the pain associated with the uncertainty that comes with that. My mother in-law never got over it and passed away soon after.

I hope whatever happened that these families get some kind of closure soon.

Boeing reports plane flew 4 more hrs after losing contact.Information was sent from one of the engines computers back to boeing with a total flight time of 5 hrs. This plane has surely been hijacked and could be 2300 miles inland.

Yup. US officials saying up to 5 hours according to fox 30 minutes ago.

China is historically very deliberate about their public statements. Either they found something or they know something more. Why float that story yesterday?

I hear these aircraft transmit data via radio.... why not satellite like military UAVs do?

If the USAF can know the exact details and have a camera on a UAV from all the way around the world, then it sure is feesable to have the same technology on an airliner.
