So who all rides motorcycles?????

Had a great couple of days riding dirt bikes with my grandson who’s on spring break this week. He’s really now digging my retro Kawasaki Z900RS SE after I took him for a spirited spin in the twisties. Motorsports are a good way to keep him off the electronic gadgets.

I had the Z900RS, before they released the SE model. Upgraded the forks and added a K-Tech Razr shock, lower bar, exhaust, tune and some other stuff. Even took it out on track, had a blast!

I rode to Orlando on Tues , 10 am - 9 pm.
Stayed they're overnight had breakfast, met a friend for lunch, left at 2 PM got home to the Atlanta area at 1 AM.

I'm glad I have those extra lights on the back of my bike and a few weeks ago I already attached a rechargeable light on the back of my helmet ( but it does not have a motion sensor and does not get brighter during braking or any deacceleration.)

I've been riding on the street since 1966 and thinking about one of these Brake Lights that attaches to your helmet
I have never been hit or in an accident on a Motorcycle
anyone know about or have experience with it

I'm thinking about getting one. I hear the BRAKE FREE devices are sensitive enough to notice deceleration from any source --not just manual brake application.

.I have noticed that some of the people I ride with primarily use engine compression braking as they approach a stop sign or a red light , and therefore their brake lights never activate until they have almost completely stopped , because they're not pulling levers or pushing pedals-- they're simply letting engine compression slow them down. Especially if they are facing slightly uphill.

Just installed new tires on the BMWs. The K1300s got Dunlop Roadsmart 3s, and the K1200gt got Pirelli Angel's. By far the easiest bikes I've had to pull wheels on. Used a front fork stand and the centerstand. The Coats 70x made short work of the changes.

Coats 70x, Wow! I’m still using tire irons for all my bike tire changes. I did break down and picked up a Rabaconda tire changer a few years ago but it’s the dirt bike model. Just don’t have the space for the bigger tire machines right now. Too many motorcycles in the way in my garage.

Oh yeah, it does take up some floorspace, but it's not terrible. It's been super handy though - my F250, kids vehicles, friends and neighbors, plus all the bikes. It hasn't paid for itself yet, but I'm close. The convenience is worth the shop space. I have done 7 bikes and 7 cars/trucks in the last 6 months.
