ZX6R or 10?
636. Considered the ZX10R, but those are like $18k out the door, and as a third bike, I just didn't feel like spending that much...
The smaller bike will force me to focus more on corner speed and not being lazy and just making up for it on the straights with 200hp like the ZX10R has... haha

I had a 2013, I got it for the exact same reason. I had an 08 CBR1k. I couldn't get that bike to break a sweat anywhere except Road Atlanta. On the street, no way. The ZX was amazing on a smaller track. Very comfortable and roomy too. They nailed it
I take off my wheels
I change my own tires on spoke tube wheels
but
take my powder coated cast wheels to the shop
if you get tire irons, get the 24" from HF @ $6.00 get 3
and get some rim protectors on-line
If you do it yourself make sure to take them to a shop to get them balanced.
Take the wheels over to Cycle Gear, or some place like Caylor-Made motorsports. Opie does good work.
Your tires are your connection to the road. If you don't have the tires or experience, don't risk half-assing it... Get it done right.
Thanks for advice. I was going to take the wheels to Caylor-Made but had some spare time and the weather wasn't great for riding so picked up some spoons, rim protectors, wheel weights and gave it a try. Once I figured out the right technique it wasn't too bad. Have not ridden over 60 yet but it seems I did an ok job balancing them.
