I ride a 2011 HD Streetglide in Sedona Orange. I took all the chrome off and powder coated it gloss black.

The Rocker C with a Heartland kit and air ride.

I’ve been working on a 07 Harley Davison!
Guess I have to put training wheels on it,
Terribly top-heavy don’t know why anybody could ride something like this!
Even started exercise for my little old chicken legs!
Just don’t understand why anybody would build something so ridiculously top heavy

Yes it is. 2007 DL1000. Its a fun ride!

I'm in the Ellijay, Blue Ridge area and usually run north. Going to Robbinsville this weekend to the Two Wheels Inn. Neat little place if you have not stayed there.

Ive been watching and reading this thread for a couple of years now, and figured it was time to show my past and present rides.

I started riding some smaller street bikes in the early eighties, and then moved on up over the years. I bought a 1988 Honda Gold Wing in 1988 when they came out the first 1500cc 6 cylinder engine. I rode it all over the southeast and put close to 50,000 miles on it in about 15 years.

When my daughter got older, and my buddies quit riding, I sold it and stopped riding for quite a while.

About 3 years ago I really started thinking about riding again, but kept it to myself, and only looked at a bike if I was near one.

2 years ago we bought electric bikes to take camping with us, and that really, really made me start thinking about riding again. I put about 1000 miles on my bicycle in around 2 years.

So, about 6 months ago a stumbled across a Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive Scooter. I thought it would be perfect to gt back into riding, so I bought it. About 2 months ago it started having transmission problems (CVT belt), and it was going to cost more to fix it than it was worth. The mechanic at the bike shop wanted it, so I sold it to him.

So I was left without a bike again. 2 weeks ago I went out shopping and found this:

It's a 2025 Kawasaki W230, patterned after the 1970's classic street bikes. It's a 6 speed, weighs in at 300lbs., and is very easy to ride. It had no miles on it. I bought it straight off the sales floor.

I only have 85 miles on it now. Kawasaki says I need to get 150 miles before I can start to open it up. At 250 miles I can run it wide open for short periods. It tops out around 72mph, which is more than enough for me. I'm taking the next week or so to get it set up the way I want it. It has zero storage, so I'm working on some luggage/bag ideas.
