So who all rides motorcycles?????

New wings are $30k. Absurd, but the tech has exploded.
Used bikes are still a great deal for your entertainment/therapy dollar.
I know the new ones have been that price for a while. You start getting into that computer and EFI crap is were I get less interested. Just problems down the road. I think my Dad's 03 Harley is EFI

It's not even close. The major difference in a Wing and other bikes is long distance comfort. Their maneuverability and ability to keep up with the vast majority of bikes, and surpass most all cruisers, defies appearance. At least previous appearance. If the current generation was the first time if had been introduced, no one would know how to classify it. Closer to classic sport tourers now.
I always felt the GW was the most tech advanced bike. I can tell you if I had a choice when the time comes. My Dad's Harley Classic or a GW, I'd likely take the GW

If I were still riding, I'd have a classic old oil-leaking, vibrating British twin.
I think the most beautiful bike I have ever seen is my first mother-in-law's boyfriend's 1966 750cc Royal Enfield Interceptor, in royal blue. At least, it's made the most lasting impression.

Some Folks with interwebs authority need to ride a 10 year old Road Glide CVO or equivalent to the Grand Canyon and back . I’ve road several Gold Wings (between services for electronic problems) and they’re like sitting in a middle school desk , if you’re 6’+ tall . I’d buy a shin busting BMW before I bought any Gold Wing. Until you’ve laid back with your feet spread out and rest against your favorite Lady on a Road Glide you haven’t road long trips like you deserve (or not) .

I put tens of thousands of miles on a flat 6 engine. Had highway pegs anytime I felt the need. Hard to imagine being more comfortable. It's about the vibration as much as the riding position when it comes to distance riding. You aren't balancing a nickel on its side on a running RG engine.

Correct... That new wing has been scaled inline with the FJR type styling. I really like the looks

I almost put 50k on this 2001 95 inch CVO before selling in ‘03. I thought my buddy’s ‘01 Wide Glide was fast. Sold it for what I paid for it , the only upside to getting rid of it. It was a “Screaming Eagle” then , now they’re CVO .
