Putting some miles on day by day

Love that color combo... My wife just traded in her '14, for the new Street Triple RS, the 765 motor. Such a different bike. Due to the weight difference between the bikes, and between her and I, she is faster on hers than I am on the bigger 1050cc Triple. Doing 6th gear roll ons, she actually pulls away from me and I did not expect that. Granted, between bike and rider, my Speed Triple has to lug an extra 180lbs, but I was surprised how strong that new 765 motor is.

Some reports coming in from real world dyno tests, suggest that Triumph fudged the numbers so that people wouldn't stop buying the Speed over the Street.

MCN put both a new Street RS and a Speed on the same dyno, same day, and the Street made 126hp at the wheel to the Speed's 128hp.

The Street is rated by Triumph at 123hp at the crank, and normally a bike sees a 15% drivetrain loss to the rear tire. So how does it make more at the wheel, than it is supposed to make at the crank? LOL

I feel like I bought the wrong bike. It's like buying the 5.0 V8 Mustang, and then your buddy in the stock v6 beats you in a drag race...
