That's what happens when you catch your toe on the pavement and it gets shoved back into the heel shifter leaving your foot nowhere to go.

these are special cases..your first bike shouldn't be an expensive one..just saying

Those screws have been there since 2004. I have long ago healed up.

If you compare the small amount of pain for a short time with the 30 years of pure unadulterated joy motorcycles have provided me from my point of view it has been totally worth it.
