So who CCW in church

For those of you that carried in a "house of worship", as OCGA worded it, before HB60 was passed:
1. Did you realize it was illegal and choose to make that decision based on your beliefs? Did you realize it was illegal even if your "pastor" or governing body told you it was OK?
2. Now that HB60 has passed, what has your "house of worship" done to "opt in" to church carry? Have they given written permission for just you, for a group of people, or the congregation in general? Does your governing body have a formal procedure in place for allowing carry? Do "YOU" have anything to back up your permission to carry, if it were to come to situation where someone accused you of carrying without permission?
I'm just asking for my general knowledge. Not trying to sway "house of worship" carry to one side or the other.
We at GCO are very much interested in how these procedures are being implemented.

No saying "real" Christians don't carry guns at all. Saying that the belief that you are somehow safe in a church is ridiculous.
Or were all the people who have been murdered in churches not "real" Christians? Or perhaps they were just the wrong denomination?

Kinda of related I remember months ago exchanging texts and pictures with a member on here of a gun we were setting up a deal on as he was sitting in church at the time ..I said to him " something wrong with this " and he laughed
Neither. I would think it was God's will. No?
And I've always been under the impression that once you submit yourself to God, HE is in charge. Carrying a gun is not going to change his will for your life. Or at least that's what I gathered over the years.
For the record, I carry everywhere- where it hasn't been deemed illegal to do so by our protectors. Carrying in church just became legal (with consent) last month, but it sounds like we have some folks who have been violating the law long before that.
I think you and I are in agreement on the general principle that it is idiotic to expect to be safe inside of a church as long as you believe hard enough. If that was enough, lots of good people would still be alive.
So why bother carrying or owning a gun at all ?
Or wearing a seat belt?
I know someone who wont own or carry because they believe God will protect them. But the first thing they do In a car is snap on their seat belt
I've asked em why bother with a set belt ?
I think lots of people have CCW'ed when it was technically against the law

No different than changing lanes without signalling.
In GA up until about 15 years ago it was against the law to have oral sex with your wife or girlfriend
Best for some folks to NOT take a vehicle to a house of worship with any NRA, GCO, Glock, etc. stickers or licenses plates. Best not to tip one's hand - scared sheep are everywhere.
