Some ICON Stuff

Let's just review the ICON stuff, the low-end stuff is disposable.... I carry an emergency set of specific tools in my trunk...
They won't do everything I need to but ina pinch it will get what I need done... I call these my Glock tools....
Nothing special, functional, kind of ugly and replaceable...
I am not going to keep a 140$ ratchet in the trunk of a 1000$ car...

Even professional mechanics are opting for Icon tools. Nothing wrong with them. Lifetime warranty. If you lose one, you don't have to refinance your home.

Will Icon tools last as long as a Snap On? No, but you would have to break SIX icon tools just to approach the cost of ONE Snap On. Now, the question becomes, will you wear out six Icon tools in a working lifetime? Probably not.

There are plenty of YT videos out there where mechanics have used Icon tools for three continuous years and continue to heap praise on them as they are still going strong after that amount of time. I have Matco, Snap On, Craftsman USA, Husky, Tekton and Icon in my tool boxes. There is a place for everything.
