Found it today. 19 and 81 Celica stick shift. Very well kept car on consignment at Singleton Auto Sales in downtown Perry. Asking price is $2900.00. I have no idea how kkuch wiggle room there is on that price. And I have no part in this deal. But I was pulling up carpet and tack strips in a nearby house today when I saw this gem. Since I haven't seen a Celica of this vintage in years I had to go get pics.

What's that handle thingy below the door handle in the driver's door panel?

j/k - wow, incredible shape for its age!
I believe it's the climate control knob. Check out the upholstery work.

In 86 I had a 79 celica

Mine was turd brown inside and out
But was cheap to buy , think I paid $1000 in 86 , it ran like a top, had super cold AC and was way better than the 77 dodge aspen I was driving previously

And the 22r five speed was faster than the 318 aspen
