I don't hate cops. Just don't worship 'em like so many are want to do. Been too close too many years for that.
Most of them are just affable goofballs wanting excitement but there are some seriously bad scumbags wearing a uniform and the goofballs protect them.

The cops in my town wouldn’t do a thing when my place got burglarized. They refused to fingerprint items that I knew had Been moved
Yet they have several cops that sit and run radar 24/7 and have em standing around a 4 way stop to write seatbelt tickets
I inspect these projects as a consultant to GDOT in these work zones that seem to be inconvenient to so many of you on here. I have no sympathy for you. Pay the damn fine and slow the **** down! Every swinging dick in these work zones want to go home and see their families after a shift. We see so many close calls from idiots behind the wheel it's amazing that more workers aren't hurt. Slow down!
Name some of these places please.....would LOVE to see documented department guidelines instead of ridiculous speculation.In some places if your IQ is over 104 they won't let you be a cop. Let that sink in, that means they would tell an idiot like me that I'm too smart to do the job

It's such ridiculous speculation that a federal Court took the case and ruled that police departments could discriminate based on IQ.

I found something from 2000.....no policies more recent that 19 years ago though. I would put good money on the "uncommon practice" side. You want to put up some cash and I will dig up the stats on say 100 random departments?
C'mon, I have $100.00 I Christmas cash I was going to take to the casino, this is MUCH more enticing....and I like my odds more too.
Its not like they make policy like that public. I said some places discriminate and don't hire people with an higher IQ. That is documented in court cases so there's nothing for me to prove here.
