Speeding ticket

There is. The locals here keep an eye on my shop at night and I really appreciate that. They also showed up fast to my mom's workplace once when a crack head was snooping around in the ceiling of the building.

I appreciate good cops that do a good service for people. Just sick of bad cops getting away with being bad cops. Like when they show up for a house alarm and shoot the peoples ****ing dog, happens way to often and then the blue line backs them up.

Sick of speed traps that have nothing to do with safety and everything to do with revenue. And I absolutely hate the blatant violation of the 4th amendment in setting up road blocks that every "good" cop seems happy to participate in.
Yep, I am with you right there all the way but like you said, not all are bad cops and I am proud to have them.

Speeding is either "the cause" or a significant contributing factor in a huge percentage of fatal accidents. And, even non-fatal accidents, which tie up valuable law enforcement resources. Just think of all the cops working wrecks at any given time-- those are cops that are NOT available to respond to other crimes in progress, and they aren't out on patrol looking for bad guys casing businesses, sneaking through people's back yards, selling stolen loot out of a van parked in an alley, etc. The more car crashes we have in a community, the more times we take a valuable cop off of "crime fighting" duty and put him or her on "incident report filler-outer" duty.

We have no idea if the officer that gave the OP a ticket for no telling how fast he was going or maybe he has a past full of violations and other speeding tickets. I have asked the OP several times to show us his ticket but he will not. I reckon he was going pretty fast and if the truth be told, maybe the officer DID give him a break. We have no idea what went on so IMO we should not be bashing an officer doing his job. We have no idea if he was a good un or a bad un so why not give the the officer the benefit of the doubt. I sure would love to see that ticket.

Why would I give the officer any more benefit of doubt than I would give jaf1 jaf1 ?
