That IS a deal. Bought my Westinghouse 3600 from Walmart.com last year. It will run more stuff but it's also about 3 times the size. This suitcase size is great for lots of uses.

Got to honestly ask, with it being only 1000 watt, what can it actually power other than cell phone chargers?

I've used mine mainly while remote camping for a variety of tasks:

* Keep the deep cycle batteries in my camper topped off each day (use CPAP all night)
* Runs small power tools like corded drills, dremel tool (for chainsaw re-sharpening), small pancake compressor for nail guns and tire pressures, KO Work Sharp Sharpener for axe and knife maintenance
* Powers my cordless tool rechargers

At 1000W it certainly has its limitations but being so small and lightweight its easy to tote around/transport and just sips fuel.
At the cost of one expensive dinner out with wife, it was a great investment imo.
