SAI has since stated that they were "ill-informed" as to the contents of the bill, have pulled out of it, and are fighting against it. I saw the official press release from SAI stating this.

Someone in their senior management should get canned for this "blunder." I was looking at a new Mod 2, I think I'll look elsewhere now.

Either way that's a inexcusable blunder that's a slap to the face of the customer base. I don't excuse ignorance and backpedaling.

They gave money to a few anti gun politicians. Also they changed their status to "neutral". So they are not even going full blown against it. **** Springfield and Rock river. They can keep their **** in IL.

I already have the mod 2 sub compact in .45 and really like it...It sucks because I haven't liked a carry gun this much in a while. I even had a new IWB holster made for it by Gearcraft...Whatever...I will not support SA anymore.

I had a comment or two for a couple of their guys this past weekend. I couldn't tell if they wanted to ignore me in hopes I would just go away, or if they were indifferent. Either way, their response to me was not a response at all, and only made me more angry. I made sure to stop by while they were quite busy.

I have never been more proud to be a Glock owner!
