I think I might this year, if it cools down a bit. My dog, a 6 year old female Weimaraner, has shown great treeing instincts and isn't the least bit put off by gunfire. The squirrels decimate our fruit and nut trees each spring, so thinning the local population is a worthy goal.

Anybody gotten out yet? Buddy I used to hunt with had a squirrel dog but I am kicking around just taking my boy up to John's Mountain this weekend to wander through the woods and see if we see anything.
