St. Simons ICW fishing

I am heading down to the coast for Holiday and will have access to a boat for a couple days around St. Simons Island. It is a Small boat, I think 18' Mako. I would like some fresh fish dinners does anyone have any pointers for catching some fish in the marsh or Inter Coastal Waterway? I really would not feel comfortable taking a skiff out in the open water and have little experience fishing inland

They're always biting at City Market on Gloucester St. in downtown Brunswick. Yum!

Thanks, I will try bumping the jig for some Flounder and use that as a back up plan!
